Time to Schedule Your Annual Backflow Test

Annual Backflow Testing Reminder

Irrigation season is here, and it’s time to schedule your annual backflow testing.

Annual testing helps protect the public water system by ensuring backflow prevention devices continue working properly and helping keep contaminants out of drinking water lines.

Important Deadline

Completed Backflow Assembly Test Reports must be submitted by June 30, 2026.

Backflow prevention devices help protect the public water system by keeping contaminants, fertilizers, chemicals, and standing water from flowing backward into drinking water lines. Annual testing helps make sure these devices continue working properly and helps protect water quality across our community.

What You Need to Do

  • Schedule your testing appointment early with a certified backflow tester
  • Have the Backflow Assembly Test Report completed and returned to backflow@eastsideutility.com.
Attn. Testers: To help keep customers informed, we ask that you CC the customer when submitting completed test reports.
  • Don’t wait too long. Appointment availability may become limited closer to the deadline.

Not Sure if You Have a Sprinkler Meter?
